RE-DESIGN, creating new stories
Who? The “Meshuna” Gallery is a Tel-Aviv based gallery showcasing art and design from all over the country.
The Challenge? During the summer of 2016 Meshuna held a changing exhibition with a different theme every week. For their design week they asked us to curate a special exhibition.
What did we do? We’ve invited five of our favorite contemporary designers to collaborate with us and give their own take on MOLET, using it as a platform for their signature styles and adding their own favorite materials to work with. We held a special workshop with Chen Bikovsky of Pop Up Lighting, Kerem Kaminsky, Roy Yahalomi and Tal Hadar of Yahalomis, Maor Aharon and Tomer Levy. After the workshop we gathered all of their creations together for our Re-Design exhibition, which was all about creating new stories.
